Wisdom

Wisdom as an analogy can be like the food offered to us on a smorgasbord. Kind of like a variety of truths available for us to choose to eat or not eat.

Many of us will choose what we know we will like.  Several of us will occasionally venture in to the unknown to try something we have not tried before.  Like food that contains elements of nutritious value. Wisdom too contains elements of truth.  Yet like food, it is not the food itself that benefits us; it is more in the way that our bodies digest the food, and more in the way that our body is able to extract the nutritious value from the food. Digestion eliminates the waste, which will enable our bodies to function more healthily.  Good digestion means more nutritious value is extracted and waste is eliminated quickly and regularly. Bad digestion means a lot of the food that could not be digested becomes toxic and clings to the digestive tract preventing us from extracting effectively the nutritious value of food.  Sometimes the nutritious value is then eliminated with the waste!

Gladly we can improve our digestion by clearing out the toxic stragglers in our digestive tract by eating “other types of food”.

Perhaps if we relate our digestive processes to that of our minds and the philosophy and tenets we explore as the “other types of food”. The wisdom from the chosen philosophy or tenets will perhaps then serve to cleanse the toxic stragglers from our minds and we will be better able to absorb much more value from any wisdom we are choosing to digest for the moment.

Dreams

The intuitive mind seems to not have a problem with accepting and integrating the messages of dreamtime but our conscious minds will often more than not filter out what our parameters of perception will not allow and the messages can be distorted. So for me it is far more useful to use intuition in conjunction with the conscious mind. It retains those golden messages even if the conscious mind is unable to in the moment of returning from dreamscape.

Miracles

Each day there are miracles

that help the world go round

Of which the magic and wonder

will always linger around

Miracles can be great

And Miracles can be small

but often we’re too busy

To spot a miracle at all

When we take a moment

From the busy lives we lead

An inner peace arises

And Miracles we will see

Rhythm of Life

There are heart beats in the rhythm of life

Each unique in their melodic beat

Like a symphony of light and sound

There is beauty when they meet

Like a sunset on the horizon

and the birth of a brand new day

In the cycle of the rhythm of life

Beautiful music will always play

Arguments

Arguments tend to occur for very many different reasons. That may be out of ignorance or out of not being fully aware of the situation at hand. An unwillingness then to look from the other persons point of view with an open mind. Often one can be right and wrong at the same time and it depends highly on who is observing the situation at hand. For one person to say you are right a few many others would disagree and say you are wrong. What it comes down to at the end of the day is an individuals perception of the situation that arises.

Unfortunately not too many of us, put ourselves in another shoes and therefore fail miserably at understanding where the other person is coming from and what space they are in for the moment. Even if we do not or cannot put ourselves in another shoes we can almost guarantee there is a far deeper reason for their willingness to argue a point then what is seemingly on the surface. What that is one may never know.

Knowing that there is a reason usually allows us to let them be and act just as they are. Therefore if we choose to walk away or let it go, we do so unencumbered by the feeling that we have surrendered to something we do not believe in.
